The Herringbone Recording Studio is dedicated to combining the best of traditional analog technology with cutting-edge digital technology. Our goal is to help artists capture what they hear in their head and bring it to the world for us all to enjoy.

The studio is built around a beautifully refurbished Harrison MR-2 Analog console. Having transformers on each module provides a big fat analog sound that is missing in so many of today's recordings.

By combining the warmth of tube mics, pre's and compressors with the amazing power of digital editing, we can offer the best of both analog and digital worlds at a price that's 25-35% less than comparable studios.

Located in Nashville TN, 15 minutes from Music Row, we have access to Music City's large and varied pool of musicians for demos or album projects. Nashville Cats still play clean as country water, but many of them play great jazz, kick-butt rock, and even classical! Of course, you can always bring your own band.

 

We can also mix and master projects recorded at other studios. We can import files from ProTools, Digital Performer, Nuendo, Cubase, etc. and mix them on our beautiful analog gear. Bring us your Adat or Tascam tapes!
