SongDoor International Songwriting Contest

ENTRY DEADLINE: November 15, 2008

Online submissions will be accepted until

12:00 midnight, Central Standard Time (US).

We strongly suggest you read through the rules and faqs first.

1. When you click the “enter online now” button below, you will be taken to

the Upload Agreement.

2. Upon accepting the terms of the Upload Agreement, you will be taken to the

Entry Form.

3. On the Entry Form page, you can fill out the actual entry form, and upload

your songs and lyrics. You may submit 3 entries at a time. If you want to

enter more, just return to this page and start the process again.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT UPLOADS:

• There is a file-size limit of 10MB per song.

• Song files must be in .mp3 format. ONLY MP3.

• Make sure your lyric-sheet filenames match your song track titles.

• Lyric files must be in .doc (Word) or .txt (Notepad, TextEdit) format.

• If your song is an instrumental, please upload a blank .doc or .txt file

to act as a lyric sheet.

4. After your songs have uploaded (it may take a while, depending upon your Internet connection), you will receive a brief onscreen confirmation that your upload was successful. You’ll then be automatically redirected to a page entitled "submit your entry fee," where you will click through to a secure PayPal page. A valid credit card is required.

Each entry is $10. You must RE-TYPE the number of entries in the "Quantity" box on the PayPal page. The number of entries you put on the entry form does NOT carry forward to the PayPal page.

5. You will receive a PayPal receipt via email shortly after you make your payment. Your entry is then logged into the database and is considered official!

Attempts to send .mp3 files and/or entry forms

via e-mail through this site will be rejected.
